All orders are covered by our 28 days no quibble guarantee.We guarantee that if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange it or give you a full refund with no questions asked, provided you return it to us within 28 days. Please tell us your reasons for returning the items as we value your comments. Environmental Policy

We endeavour to buy from companies who take their responsibilities to the environment seriously. We personally endeavour to recycle our waste wherever possible. We also use recycled paper and boxes where possible and are constantly looking at ways to improve our environmental commitment.


Please be reassured that all our toys comply with EC Toy Safety regulations and, where appropriate, carry the CE mark. Some items contain small parts and are therefore not recommended for children under three (as indicated). Wherever possible we give age recommendations but please use them as a guide, not in place of your own judgement. Do e-mail or phone us if you have any questions or concerns. All our wooden toys have non-toxic paints or stains, are lead free, and have passed all required child safety tests.

Age Guides

Ages are used as a recommended or suggested guideline only. For instance, some items are not recommended for under 3s as they contain small parts, but many others would be very suitable for a bright 2 year old. We have therefore added our recommended age to products alongside the manufacturer’s minimum age.

Sending a present? We can wrap your gift in handmade paper and send it directly to the recipient along with a beautiful gender neutral postcard handwritten with your personal message. Cost £4.50 per recipient. Please select this option at checkout.

Joining our Birthday club enables us to send you a unique discount code to spend during the run up to each childs birthday. Online Ordering

Once an order has been placed we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form. This does not constitute acceptance of your order, nor does it guarantee that all items are available at the prices shown in the confirmation. However, in the event of there being any discrepancy in price, or should any product be no longer available we will telephone you, or send you an e-mail to explain the position and to ask for your instructions. We will not vary your order without your agreement.Payment will be debited to your account before dispatch of your purchase. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.


We do our very best to make sure that we have every item listed on our website in stock and keep the website updated if we do run out. However, because of the popularity of our unique range this is not always possible at very busy times. So especially in the run up to Christmas please order early to avoid disappointment.

Price Information

Nurtures takes great care to ensure that the prices displayed are accurate. However our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our order procedures so that, where a product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and refund the difference. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site we will either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection which will be at our discretion.
We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order confirmation.

We often have some fantastic special offers and clearance sales to make way for new stock. These will only be available for the dates advertised and we reserve the right to withdraw any offer or discount code at any time. However, unfortunately any offer that includes free delivery or free postage and packing applies within mainland UK only.

As all of our payments go via Paypal please refer to their Privacy Policy regarding the security of you card details.
Please note that the majority of card issuers either cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, or may limit your liability to £50 however Nurtures will not accept any use for card misuse.

Dispatch and Delivery

We endeavour to dispatch in stock items on the next working day with a delivery time of 24-72 hours from dispatch, however during peak and seasonal times, delivery can take between 7-10 working days. We will notify you if we know this to be the case.We offer a flat rate delivery charge of £4.50 or free delivery to all customers on orders over £75
For Express Delivery we offer a same day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm using guaranteed next day delivery service at a cost of £8.50.For orders outside of the UK please contact us before placing the order so that individual prices can be provided on a case by case basis. Please not that unfortunately due to restrictions in our public liability insurance we are not able to ship to USA or Canada.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

If you are not satisfied with any purchase, simply contact us quoting the order reference from your confirmation email and return the item within 28 days, in its original condition and packaging, for an exchange or full refund of purchase price.
Claims for damaged or missing goods must be made within 8 working days from date of dispatch.
With the exception of faulty goods, postage charges are not refundable. Please note that, when returning an item, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. Please ask for ‘proof of posting’ from your post office (free of charge), or use insured ‘Special Delivery’, or a courier service, for more valuable items.

General Terms

1. Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products through the site will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and both parties, (you and Nurtures) submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nurtures disclaims all warranties; express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this web site and will accept no liability for any loss or damage arising as a result of problems with access.
